College Scholarship

Lexington Woman’s Club provides scholarship funds through the University of Kentucky for a non-traditional student, as the budget allows. The recipient must be female, over the age of 25, and reside in Fayette County. She must be enĀrolled full-time for the upcoming semester and be pursuing her first undergraduĀate degree at the University of Kentucky.

The basic requirements for the scholarship include evidence of financial need, academic excellence, character, community commitment, and leadership. Scholarships are awarded each Fall and are renewable for the Spring semester, at the committee’s discretion, if the recipient maintains the minimum standards.

Members of the LWC Education and Scholarship Committee review the applications packets that meet the minimum qualifications to determine the winner(s) of any scholarship funds.

More information and applications for the LWC non-traditional student college scholarship are available at: University of Kentucky Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships. Under Academic Scholarships click Non-Traditional and Part-Time Students. Go to LWC Scholarship section for information.
